Join a Toymaking Workshop for a Good Cause

The Lopez Memorial Museum has teamed up once again with Pilipinas Street Plan, Knowledge Channel and Boysen Paints for Gawa/Laro: Toymaking Workshop Part 2 to be held on April 16, 9am-12noon.

This is open to kids ages 6 and up. The workshop will have them paint a taka, a traditional art form of Paete, Laguna, to create a toy. The toy-making activity, complemented by a demonstration on how to make a taka, will provide young participants with the opportunity to know and work with a traditional art form. 

Toys made by the participants will become part of the exhibit sale sometime October or December to be handled by Art Cabinet. Proceeds of sales will go to Knowledge Channel for its programs for schoolchildren in the country. For more details pls call 6312417 or email admin@lopez-museum.org
