Wingstop Launches New Menu for When You #CantStopTheCrave

I've loved dining at Wingstop since the Glorietta 2 branch opened early last year. I'm glad it continues to offer new flavors and promos … Here are the latest ones!

Press Release:

When it comes to satisfying big cravings, Wingstop hits back even bigger. The immense flavor in the wings calls out to your tastebuds and sticks in your memory. But just when you thought you’ve had it hard, along comes your craving once more—urging you, this time even harder, for that flavor that seeps through the bones.

For cravings that just won’t stop, your all-time favorite wings from the Flavor Company now come in bigger, filling servings! Score your favorite wings with drinks and sides—hot, signature Chipotle rice, tasty fries, or savory onion rings—in Individual Meals that are definitely big enough to satisfy more than just your curiosity.

Go with 3-pc Chicken Tenders, hand-breaded to perfection. You can also get Boneless Bites. Either way, they both start at P199. Or just go dive right into things with the cooked-to-order, hot bone-in Classic Wings that made Wingstop famous in the first place. At P269, get 5 wings sauced and tossed in your favorite flavor. From mouthwatering Mild Buffalo to tongue-searing Atomic, you can choose just how far you’re willing to go for a thrill in a meal. Like oriental? Get Korean Soy. Prefer Mediterranean? There’s Garlic Parmesan. In between Lemon Pepper and Mango Habanero, there’s a world of flavors that’s just waiting to jump from your plate to your palate.

We haven’t even gone to the dips yet! Pair your sides with our Ranch, Bleu Cheese, Honey Mustard, BBQ, Atomic, Teriyaki, or Cheese dips. And to really hit the homerun, upsize your drink or add a coleslaw. It’ll just be P20!

Wingstop is also prepared for when you bring the gang, so gather the pack and enjoy the new Meals to Share. Starting at just P599, get a huge set of your favorite Classic Wings, Batter-friend Wings, Boneless Bites, Tenders, or a combination of any two. Like the Individual Meals, these Meals to Share have big appetites covered as they also come with your favorite combination of drinks and sides. How do Cheesy Salsa Nachos and Apple Juice sound? Get creative! There’s a set for groups of every size, whether you’re just an eager pair or a ravenous group of five.

Big hunger doesn’t have to be a big problem—for either your palate or your wallet! So if you #CantStopTheCrave, go out and try the bigger, better menu from Wingstop.

Warehouse Shopping without the Membership at Best Value Factory Food Outlet

Want to find the best value for your money for your warehouse shopping needs? Read this!

Press Release:

This Holiday Season may be the best time to try shopping at the Best Value Factory Food Outlet, one of the best kept secrets in the industry. And best of all, unlike other warehouse outlets, you don’t need a membership. People in the food industry and those with small and medium scale food businesses have been flocking to Best Value even before they opened their doors to the public at large – and now you can, too!

When you name your store Best Value, you need to have the goods to back it up – and they do. They offer factory prices on a host of goods particularly Cooking Oils, Specialty Fats, Baking and Culinary Ingredients and a whole sundry of items you won’t normally find at the supermarket and normal retail outlets. Best Value has a wide assortment of goods at great value and superb quality. Most of their products come from Oleo-Fats, an affiliate company which already manufactures products for food industry leaders and famous food chains.

Initially, the store was just an outlet to sell to Oleo-Fats customers who didn’t meet the larger volume orders, according to Princess Guia, Best Value’s ebullient Sales and Operations Supervisor. But this year they realized that expansion meant choices, and so they decided to carry other brands as well, making them a full-fledged store.

Princess Guia (3rd from right), Sales and Operations Supervisor,
and Best Value Team
One of the reasons the store expanded to include more and more items is simply because the customers kept asking.  For instance, since they already sold the soft serve mixes, customers also looked for the cones, the syrups and the toppings. “They wanted basic commodities, like flour and sugar, so our goal is to complete the product lines,” says Guia.  This is why you’ll also see products adjacent items such as packaging material and chocolate and cookie molds.

Predictably, Food Service and Horeca (Hotel, Restaurant, Café) industries make up a large portion of their customer base. The rest have food kiosks/stalls bakeries, some are hobbyists and homemakers. Pretty much anyone will benefit from their products. “For all your culinary needs” is not just a tagline. They have a range of mixes, syrups, sauces, toppings, flavorings, spices, breadings, among other dry goods and even frozen meats. While food items are their primary product, there are also other like soaps, cleaners and laundry detergents because the food service companies also need those and their parent company, D&L Industries, manufactures those products as well.

The company also encourages entrepreneurship with their HANEP (Buhay) Negosyo Packages. The store sells equipment such as soft serve ice-cream makers, granita slushee mixes, juice mixes, 3-in-1 Vendo, and Popcorn Maker. It’s a smart move as they’ve become a one-stop shop for all your entrepreneurial needs. The streamlining just makes it easier. They also conduct free seminars and demos to educate interested customers.

As always, it’s the people who really make the experience shopping here an enjoyable experience. Best Value knows their customers not just because they’re often repeat customers, but because they engage them, and it’s those personal touches that really make the customers feel heard. When some of their shoppers went looking for Organic Apple Cider Vinegar in the shop because there was a shortage in the usual places, Guia herself searched for other suppliers and it wasn’t long before they were on the shelf. It is this kind of personalized service and the products themselves that have brought fast growth to the company and definite expansion plans for next year. As Guia puts it, “We are also learning from the customers.”

Best Value Factory Food Outlet is located at 62 Calle Industria, Bagumbayan, Quezon City, (02) 635 0680 loc 386, 0918 903 9328. Store Hours: 9AM-7PM daily. Visit and like their Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/BestValueFFO/

Her View From The Top: Whether in Career or Beauty, Renee Alcantara Calls The Shots

I personally believe that every woman should learn how to take care of herself inside and out ... that's why I'm sharing this article 😊.

Press Release:

There’s beauty in power—and power in beauty.  That, in essence, is what Renee Alcantara found out.   Running her own company Southwest Persues Construction and Development Corporation as its President and CEO entails making important decisions day in and day out.  She has to face different people—business partners, suppliers, and government officials in the course of her work.

Early on, Renee realized that it’s not easy being a boss at what many consider as “a man’s world”—the construction industry.  “I have to assert myself as a woman and know the ins and outs of the business like the back of my hand.  It is a difficult job, but one that I’ve learned to love,” Renee points out.  She says her success took years of hard work, but the pay off is fulfilling.

Because of her position and status, Renee cannot take chances with how she looks and how she presents herself to others. According to her, beauty has a very important role in her career and personal life because it makes her feel confident.  “For me, looking good translates to feeling good,” she explains.

Her must-haves for Beauty Regimen and Treatment
From the start, Renee opted to go to a Philippine Dermatological Society (PDS) board certified dermatologist. “I consult with my PDS Dermatologist regularly because I know that I will get the best treatment since she is an expert in beauty.  She knows exactly what my skin needs,” Renee shares.

For her beauty regimen, she says she washes her face in the morning and in the evening before going to bed. She also applies moisturizer every night and puts on sunblock every morning.

But for her regular beauty needs, enhancements, and treatments, she visits her PDS Dermatologist at least once a month for the following:

1. Facial for cleansing;

2. Diamond peel to tighten the pores and smoothen the skin;

3. Revlite treatment to remove irregular pigmentation and reduce fine lines and wrinkles;

4. Face contouring or RF for facial tightening and anti-aging;

Why did Renee choose to see a PDS Dermatologist over others?
“I don’t like to 'gamble,' even in business.  I want to be sure of the results so just like how I chose my business partners, I also carefully selected my dermatologist.  That’s why a PDS Dermatologist is my choice,” Renee states.

She adds, “Aside from making my skin beautiful, healthy, and glowing, I’m also updated on all the latest procedures, current trends, and formulas in skin enhancement that will make my skin look younger than my age.”

Renee also believes that women should invest in beauty to maintain youthfulness.  She added that being beautiful is a powerful position to be in because you can inspire other people to be confident and beautiful themselves. “Confidence radiates pure happiness and real beauty, and that’s what matters, at the end of the day,” she concludes.

If you want to know more about the latest on beauty enhancements and treatments, visit a PDS Dermatologist today. Join the conversation online by using the hashtags: #DermAuthorityPDS and #BeautyIsPowerPDS

SWISH Breath Spray Gives Tips on Millennial Love and Maneuvering Through Swipe Rights and Charms

This post may be dedicated to millennials but those beyond that age range could still definitely pick up tips, too! Read on, single people … 😉

Press Release:

Dating apps have made it easier for us to find (and reject) people in a few seconds. How do you pump up the dating scene with you-never-know connections?

Who you are online isn’t always an accurate depiction of who you actually are—or is it? Admit it, most of us post our best selfies and try are hardest to be so swipe-able that we sometimes neglect to show who we really are. Swish gets how much you want to pump up the confidence and level up in your dating game, so it got relationship coach Aileen Santos to reveal what it takes to make millennial love work IRL (in real life, for those who don't get it).

Aileen Santos
1. Choose your photo carefully. There’s more to finding the profile photo than the one where you look hot. Aileen suggests, “Don’t use your resume or passport photo. Think inviting, friendly, and warm. Make sure you’re smiling and looking smart. Choose one that you’re making eye contact with the camera. You can show shape, but not skin, unless that’s the message that you want to send.”

2. Create a profile that’s full of conversation starters. To avoid the annoying “What brings you here” or “How are you?” messages, make a profile that can spark a conversation. Aileen says, “This person wants to get to know you, so they want to know what you would possibly talk about on a date. So, put in there what you’re passionate about—limit it to three things. And not just a list; give a bit more detail. Like rather than, ‘I love dogs,’ you can say, ‘I love dogs—I have a poodle, a Chihuahua, and I adopted an askal last month.’”

3. Look for common friends, and ask for a referral from them. Just like the good ol’ blind date, some of the most successful matches come from having friends in common. It also shows that perhaps you’re on the same wavelength, and you can ask your friend firsthand how the guy is like. Aileen says, “For people you only meet online, having mutual friends is actually good, because you have someone to vouch for this person, and you know that person won’t do anything because your friends know about your possible date.”

4. Stay safe. Even if all those things come into play—you have mutual friends, your conversations are as sincere and deep as you want, and your profile is attractive but safe enough, remember to not talk about things that could cause harm to either you or your family or loved ones. Don’t reveal where you live, the specific company where you work, or the places you always go to. Talk about your passions to check out if you have anything in common, but not things that can either put you in harm’s way, just in case he turns out to be a stalker.

If you’re meeting for the first time in person, remember that he’s still a complete stranger. When you finally agree to meet IRL, keep in mind that you guys are still strangers, no matter how long you’ve been talking online. To save you from the face-to-face jitters, ready the works—comfy outfit, sweet perfume, clean teeth, and fresh breath (a SWISH breath spray can come in handy for insta-freshness and a pump of confidence). When you have all those bases covered, you can concentrate on enjoying the conversation and actually getting to know your date. You can still talk about the same things you talked about online, but it’s better to keep the meet up short, during the daytime, and without alcohol, so that you can enjoy the date while still thinking clearly.
