Got faith-related questions? You just might find the answers through OMF Lit!
Press Release:
As Holy Week draws near, we will be reminded of a beaten and blood-streaked Jesus; whether through images or through re-enactments of His passion and crucifixion. Many will be fasting from their usual indulgences like meat, chocolates and TV as a sullen atmosphere hangs over everyone. It will seem as though Jesus has died all over again — not exactly a delightful time.
Ultimately Holy Week is not an occasion for mourning. With this, OMF Literature, one of the country’s leading Christian publishers, launches Life Revised, a campaign that aims to impart why Holy Week marks a time of victory and rejoicing. Gladys Doronila, marketing manager of OMF Literature shares, “We usually focus on the agony of Christ, but this passion culminates in His resurrection. We don’t have to be sad all over again because Christ is alive. Life revised means the Risen Lord changed history and He can also change our story.”
To help those seeking a more meaningful and enriched Lenten season, OMF Literature will be highlighting books that focus on the restoration and redemption we can find in Christ. Devotionals, life testimonies and daily thoughts will be posted on OMF LIT’s Facebook page.
Throughout this season, OMF LIT Bookshops will have Thoughts Revised boxes where anyone can drop their hard or troubling questions regarding God and their faith. Selected questions will be featured and given answers on the OMF LIT blog. Gladys Doronila adds, “Lent is not about going through the motions. It's an opportunity to have a deeper and more personal encounter with Christ. This Holy Week, let’s be reminded that we don’t have a dead Christ, but a risen Christ who can change our lives.”
