The first phase of the contest that will run from February 20 to March 16, 2012 will give FB fans the chance to win a “Butanding Interaction” adventure tour; the second phase that will run from March 19 to April 20, 2012 will treat winners to a Mayon Adventure; while the third phase that will run from April 23 to June 22 will take winners to a City Tour of Legazpi.
All adventure tours are punctuated with a three-day, two-night stay for two with breakfast at The Oriental – definitely the perfect jump-off point to all of the above destinations. Situated above Taysan Hill, The Oriental Legazpi boasts of a picturesque view not only of Mt. Mayon but also of the stunning cityscape of Legazpi as well as the blue waters of the Gulf of Albay.
Interested participants need only to “Like” The Oriental Hotels and Resorts Facebook Page and post their answers to the questions “Why do you deserve to swim with the butanding? Have a Mayon adventure weekend? Have a Bicol weekend getaway?” To further qualify, contestants must tag at least five of their friends and The Oriental FB page in their post.
There are two ways to win. Contestants can be as creative as they can and have their answers in the form of a photo, a video, a poem or a short 100-word paragraph. The most creative entry wins The Oriental Experience Grand Prize. Contestants can also win the Audience Choice Award by having the highest number of Likes on their entry.
Tourists can stay at any one of The Oriental’s 115 exquisite guest rooms as well as enjoy the mouth-watering local and international cuisine at its 220-seater Jasmine restaurant. Other five-star amenities to help keep them in shape for their adventures include an infinity pool, world-class spa and gym. The Oriental’s business center and Wi-Fi connection will also allow guests to stay in touch with the rest of the world during their stay.
