Learning is Fun at Power Mac Center Summer Workshops 2014

Continue your child’s learning this summer as Power Mac Center, the most reliable Apple partner in the Philippines, holds anew its summer workshops for schoolchildren age 7 to 12 years old. Now on its fifth year, Summer Workshops 2014 will have the theme “Reinventing Creativity through Mac & iOS” which highlights the use of Apple technology as a tool to stimulate the youth’s imagination, enabling them to reach their full creative potential.

Participants can choose from Power Mac Center Summer Workshops 2014’s offerings that include four different courses designed to familiarize them with various apps and programs that maximize the use of their Mac & iOS devices. These courses are Programming & Game Development (Blueprint Lite, Daisy the Dinosaur, XCode, Game Salad, Scratch); Digital Artwork (Sketchbook, 123D Sculpt, RoomPlanner HD, Sketchup, Toon Boom Animate Pro); Multimedia & Productivity (MusicStudio, Prezi, GarageBand, iMovie, iBooks Author); and Adobe classes (Flash, Photoshop, AfterEffects, Illustrator, Adobe Ideas).


Be among the early-bird registrants and sign up for any of the five-day courses on or before March 16 to get a 10-percent discount on registration fees. Regular registration begins on Monday, March 17. Fee for each course is at Php 6,000 per participant, except for the Multimedia & Productivity course which is Php 5,000 per participant.

“Power Mac Center Summer Workshops 2014 is the perfect way to engage students in a fun and learning environment even while on vacation. Taking part in these workshops gives our young participants hands-on experience on digital media using Apple devices which have been proven to facilitate students’ learning,” said Marketing Director Joey Alvarez

Conducted by Power Mac Center Apple Authorized Training Center Trainers, the Power Mac Center Summer Workshops 2014 will have two batches and venues of training for convenience and accessibility to participants. The first batch is scheduled at the TriNoma branch on the third week of April to the first week of May while the second batch will be held at the Greenbelt 3 branch from the second week of May to the third week of May.

Interested participants are encouraged to register in advance as available seats per course are limited to ensure a more focused discussion.
