This sounds like a fun adventure. I hope I can see for myself one of these days just how well the Samsung Galaxy Note performs.
Press Release:
For the 10 teams that competed in the Jollibee Drive-Thru Cross-Country Challenge, navigating their way around the country was both a tough test of their wits and a fun travel adventure. Finding their way to Jollibee’s 171 drive-thru stores and different scenic destinations across Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao was no simple feat. But thanks to the revolutionary Samsung GALAXY Note, the official mobile gadget of the competition, traveling through their pit-stops turned out to be the teams’ ultimate roadtrip experience.
From guiding them through every destination to capturing their best travel moments, the teams’ Samsung GALAXY Note did not let them down. With the GALAXY Note’s 5.3 inch HD Super AMOLED screen, and built-in Google Maps and GPS functions, navigating their way around the archipelago became a hassle-free adventure. Using the smartphone’s 8-megapixel camera, the challengers took snapshots of each Jollibee store they visited. They also used the smartphone’s impressive camera to capture their experiences at the pitstops, from making perfect Mayon-like Twirl Cones to building houses for Gawad Kalinga in Iligan, and shooting the rapids at Pagsanjan Falls.
The Jollibee Drive-Thru Cross Country Challenge was a race that took 10 duos on a 10-day roadtrip that brought them to iconic landmarks in five regions across the country. Best buddies Niño Duran and Anthony Gaas of Cagayan de Oro beat nine other teams and took home two brand new Ford Fiestas and 1 million pesos as the challenge’s grand winners.
