MANILA, Philippines — 2012 is proving to be a great year for the Manila concert scene as Audio Mustachio and Kerplunk! Productions bring over one of the most celebrated international rock acts of the past decade, Taking Back Sunday.

Recently reuniting with the original line-up for an all-new, self-titled record and a 10th anniversary tour of their debut album Tell All Your Friends, the band will play live for the first time in Manila on April 13, 8 p.m. at the Sky Dome in SM City North EDSA—the only Asian stop on their tour this year after touring Australia and heading out to the UK after Manila to headline the eagerly-anticipated Slam Dunk Festival. Chosen front acts to support Taking Back Sunday’s show include OPM heavyweights Typecast and critically-acclaimed independent act, Imbue No Kudos.

Be a part of a new era in the band’s history as Adam Lazarra (vocals), Eddie Reyes (rhythm guitars), John Nolan (lead guitars, back-up vocals), Shaun Cooper (bassist), and Mark O’Connell (drums) perform old and new Taking Back Sunday hits - including the Billboard 200 chart-topper, “Make Damn Sure”.
