Intensive Training in Video Storytelling for Media Ministries & Missionaries from Nov. 17 -25

The emerging generation is being shaped by 10,000 media messages daily. Christians must learn to use this powerful tool if we hope to have any power in influencing this generation. The MediaLight Group, in partnership with the School of Edge, is hosting a training on Video Production from 8 a.m till 5 p.m daily from Nov. 17 to 20 at UCB Phils.,The Edge Media office, at Room 301, 3/F, State Condominium I Bldg., Salcedo St., Legazpi Village, Makati.

The four-day camp will gather media missionaries and representatives of church media teams for a four-day intensive, hands-on training through creative sessions, video workshops and other acitivities. This will be followed by Hands-On Field Production Training from Nov. 21 to 25 that will culminate in a Final Video Project. Participants graduate on Nov. 26.

The course aims to develop the skills of the media communicator by his understanding of media: its power and the rise of visual media; production flow: how to organize a media project from pre-production, production to post-production; visual language/the language of video; operating a camera and properly framing shots; understanding light and lighting; directing and basic editing for story impact; and distribution/ understanding social media.

Training fees are at P4,900, inclusive of registration fee, training materials, lunch and snacks; OR P11,900 inclusive of registration fee, training materials, lunch and snacks, and lodging for 4 days and 3 nights. Expenses incurred off training headquarters are not included in these fees. Registration is ongoing until Nov. 10. There are limited slots.
