Museo Pambata’s Children’s Art Competition Awarding Ceremonies and Exhibit

FYI to those who are planning to visit Museo Pambata this month, do check out the kiddie artworks exhibit there.

The Czech Embassy Manila, in cooperation with Museo Pambata, will open an exhibit featuring the artworks of Filipino children age 10-14 in the recently concluded children’s art competition entitled “Guhit ČESko : the Czech Republic through my eyes.”

Featuring entries from within and outside Manila, the exhibit aims to give the Filipino youth a glimpse of beautiful Czech Republic, the heart of Europe. 

The opening and awarding ceremonies will feature Philippine folk songs presented by the Children’s Joy Foundation while a song popularized by Czech hard rock band, Kabat, will be performed by Manila rock bassist, Macky Macaventa.

The opening ceremonies and awarding of winners will be on August 6, 2011 Saturday at 2pm in Museo Pambata. The exhibit will be open to the public until August 20, 2011.
