Micah Challenge Forum on Environmental Sustainability

FYI for those who are advocating for the environment, you may want to join this forum ...

Press Release:

Micah Challenge (MC) is a global coalition of Christians holding governments to account for their promise to halve extreme poverty by 2015.

MC has twin goals of educating evangelical churches on integral mission and holding the governments accountable in fulfilling their commitments towards accomplishing their specific targets to the Millennium Development Goals (MDG). MC has completed 10-year advocacy program and moving on to the last third segment till 2015.

In this connection, we would like to invite you to the Micah Challenge Forum: Environmental Sustainability and the Aquino Administration’s Performance on October 24, 2011, Monday, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., at Capitol City Baptist Church, 135 West Avenue, Quezon City. The objective of the forum is to foster deeper understanding on the efforts and challenges faced by government and the Christian community as we meet the challenges of our changing environmental situation. We are confident that your participation in this forum will promote a meaningful dialogue with government leading toward better policy and programs that addresses the challenges of climate change and other environmental issues.

Registration fee is P300.00 inclusive of lunch and materials. Please call the Philippine Council of Evangelical Churches (PCEC) at telephone nos. 913.16.55 to 57 for inquiries you may have and look for Sis. Jo Eguico.
